This End-User License Agreement (“Agreement”) governs the use of The Hand Car Wash Accounting application (“Application”), an internal business application operated by The Hand Car Wash, San Antonio, Texas (“The Hand Car Wash,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
1. Purpose of the Application
The Application is designed primarily for authorized internal business use by The Hand Car Wash. Its functions may include bookkeeping assistance, accounting administration, transaction review, account reconciliation, financial reporting, management reporting, tax-preparation support, and related financial-management activities.
2. Authorized Use
Use of the Application is limited to individuals authorized by The Hand Car Wash. Users must protect their login credentials, access credentials, and other authentication information and must not provide unauthorized persons with access to the Application or connected financial systems.
3. Connected Services
The Application may connect to third-party services, including QuickBooks Online, through authorized application programming interfaces and authorization systems.
Use of third-party services remains subject to the applicable third party’s own terms, policies, availability, and security requirements.
The Hand Car Wash does not claim that this Application is sponsored, endorsed, certified, or operated by Intuit Inc.
4. Accounting Information
When properly authorized, the Application may retrieve, process, analyze, organize, and display accounting and business information from connected services.
Where functionality and authorization permit, the Application may also create or update accounting information.
Material changes to accounting records should be reviewed and approved by an authorized person before being relied upon for financial reporting, tax filings, lending, legal matters, or other significant business decisions.
5. Accuracy and Professional Review
The Application is intended to assist with accounting administration and financial analysis. Although reasonable efforts may be made to produce accurate information, errors, omissions, synchronization issues, incorrect classifications, incomplete source information, or other discrepancies may occur.
Users are responsible for reviewing financial information for accuracy.
The Application does not replace the professional judgment or services of a certified public accountant, tax professional, attorney, financial adviser, or other qualified professional.
Tax returns, regulatory filings, financial statements provided to third parties, and material accounting decisions should receive appropriate professional review when required.
6. Data and Authorization
Access to connected accounting information is dependent upon authorization granted by an authorized user of the applicable third-party service.
Users may revoke or disconnect authorization to supported connected services. Revocation may prevent the Application from obtaining additional information from that service unless access is authorized again.
7. Security
Users must take reasonable precautions to protect access to the Application and connected accounts.
Passwords, API credentials, OAuth tokens, client secrets, and other confidential authentication information must not be intentionally disclosed to unauthorized persons or published publicly.
8. Intellectual Property and License
The Application and its original functionality, configuration, documentation, and related materials are intended for the business purposes of The Hand Car Wash.
Authorized users receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Application for authorized business purposes. No ownership rights are transferred through use of the Application.
9. Third-Party Services
The Application may depend upon third-party software, APIs, hosting services, accounting platforms, or other technology.
The Hand Car Wash does not control and cannot guarantee the continuous availability, accuracy, security, or functionality of independent third-party services.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Application is provided on an “as available” basis without warranties of uninterrupted operation or error-free performance.
Nothing in this Agreement is intended to exclude rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Hand Car Wash will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages resulting from use of or inability to use the Application or from reliance upon unreviewed information generated or processed through the Application.
12. Modification or Discontinuation
The Hand Car Wash may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue all or part of the Application when reasonably necessary for business, operational, security, compliance, or technical purposes.
13. Changes to This Agreement
This Agreement may be updated periodically to reflect changes in the Application, applicable requirements, connected services, or business practices. The effective date displayed on this page will identify the current version.
